What this policy covers
This policy explains what information Pleasanton Concrete Company collects through this website, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. We're a concrete contractor in Pleasanton, CA, and our site exists so homeowners can learn about our work and ask us for an estimate. It's not meant to gather more about you than that.
This policy applies to our home page and every other page on this site. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form, call us or email us, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and details about the job you have in mind. We only ask for what we need to reply to you and to plan an estimate.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type into it passes through that service before it reaches us. That service handles your information under its own privacy terms.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours may collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, the pages you view, how long you stay and the site that sent you here. This information usually comes from analytics tools and server logs, and we use it in summary form to see which pages help people and which don't.
We don't use this information to work out who you are, and we don't combine it with what you send us through the form.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser so it can remember things between visits. Our site and the analytics or form tools it uses may set cookies to keep the site working and to count visits.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading about our services, though some features like the contact form may behave differently.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to answer your questions, schedule and give estimates, do the work you hire us for and follow up afterward. We use visit information to keep the site running and to make it more useful.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with services that help us run the business, such as our form provider, website host and analytics tools, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and job information for as long as we need them to reply to you, complete and stand behind your job, and keep the business records the law requires. If you ask about a job and don't hire us, we keep your request only as long as it's useful for following up, and then we delete it.
Analytics information is kept in summary form and is not tied to your name.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. If you live in California, state privacy law may give you further rights over your information, and we'll honor any request the law covers.
To make a request, use the form on our contact page or call us at (925) 468-2730. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on it, so we don't hand your information to the wrong person. We won't treat you any differently for asking.
Security and children
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, but no website or email system is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive details like bank or card numbers through the form.
This site is meant for adults planning work on their property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
Changes and privacy concerns
We may update this policy when our site or the tools behind it change, and the current version will always be on this page.
If you have a question or concern about your privacy, reach us through our contact page or by phone at (925) 468-2730, and we'll look into it and get back to you. You can learn more about who we are on our About page.
